  • Today was a super good day.

    • I got an e-mail from the super cool English teacher who was totally my hero when I was in Japan...plus he's good-looking, telling me that he pictures me smiling when he hears the word "super." hahahaha. =]
    • The ice coffee I got today wasn't as gross as it usually is.....or maybe it's because....
    • ....By coincidence I ran into Takeshi today while I was trying to finish my reading.  Of course that means I didn't get to finish my reading. hahahaha.  Every time I meet up with him, we end up with more and more inside jokes.
    • We worked on this Japanese American collaborative art project at meeting tonight.  It's kinda cool to get involved in something so meaningful...plus it was pretty fun.
    • I got in two of the classes I wanted.  Do you know how amazing that is at a school like this?!
    • Mrs. Tsuda sent me pictures of Matt's hairstyle. ahahahhahaha omggggg.
    • Phonecall from Yabuzoe Sensei!! When I saw the international number I was like "what the heck is this?"hahaha.  But as soon as he told me who it was, I almost cried! He's gonna be in LA.  I'm SO excited. I wish I could see Haruka and Mizuki right now...they'd be just as excited!!


    I can't stop smiling.

  • obsessions

    Stickiness.  These things have been especially sticky for me.

    [loveless] I can't believe this but Yamapi's new solo single "loveless" is absolutely beautiful.
    I wasn't expecting it at all.  His voice doesn't sound that great in the song, but the lyrics are painfully touching and the piano in the background is really pretty.  I wasn't expecting a song like this at all from a Johnny's artist.  It really sounds like a real artists' song.

    [heartbeat] I'm still loving 2PM's "heartbeat."  Even though it's hard to see a 7 member 2PM, it's kinda nice to get to hear more of Junho and WooYoung's voices.  The dance is cool, and the chorus is super catchy.

    [you're beautiful] So ridiculously addicting!! It's been a long time since I've watched a drama that's shout-at-the-screen worthy out of frustration.  I've even been spazzing out to my friend's mom's about this drama.  I'm in love with ShinWoo....where are all the nice guys like him?!

    [re-writing] Ever since that remix contest where we rewrote lyrics...I've stillll been rewriting lyrics.  I just don't have the confidence to actually record and post them up like I did before.  But there's a few that turned out somewhat okay, so I'm thinking of recording and uploading them soon.  We'll see~

    J-town today for the museum and taiko and shopping.

    K-town after.
    All you can eat Korean BBQ is disgustingly good.
    Don't go there on your birthday....poor freshman got drenched in champagne.

    Our car on the way back smelled like champagne, kimchi, and bbq smoke.

    Definitely a good Saturday.

  • karaoke~

    Last night was probably one of the most fun karaoke sessions I've ever been to.
    Twenty people...two rooms...running back and forth between both of them.
    Lots of ballads and showtunes and...Jonas Brothers hahaha.  And Japanese stuff, too.  And rapping.
    Hahaha Ken x Jaymie "A Whole New World" was so horrible hahaha.  Funny though.  Good icebreaker for the newbies, hopefully? hahaha.
    Ken: "Whole New World" de ii no?
    Me: Ii yo.
    Hiro to Ken: Why are you looking under W.  Whole yo! "A" right?
    Me: ....what?
    Hiro: .....shoot.  Shut up, Jaymie!

    Probably the best karaoke duet I've ever done....thanks Hiro for letting me be your "Melody."
    I've done "miss you" so many times at karaoke, but never with anyone who knew all the m-flo AND ryohei parts.  Three person song in duet form.  The best everrr <3

    Then super huge family dinner with lots of curry and sugar syrup and laughing.

    I love my "family."
    You guys make it all worth it.
